Hello Bliss Fit readers! My name is Jen. I have been a skin care and makeup professional for the past eight years, and I have always had a deep love for all things beautiful. Ever since I can remember, I have had an innate understanding of skin care (As a child, I began moisturizing my skin from head to toe long before I knew I should!) and spent many childhood hours playing with my glamorous grandmother's makeup. Over my thirty-seven years of life, I have accumulated a great deal of beauty knowledge, and my goal is to share this knowledge with any woman who wants to receive it.
As my career in beauty has progressed, I have found that the standard fifty, or even ninety, minutes of a facial treatment is simply not enough time to give my clients all of the information they need to truly change the health of their skin. The answer to 'How can I look younger?' is rarely as simple as 'Apply so-and-so cream to your skin twice a day'. Lifestyle, diet, attitude, and yes, products, all work together holistically, contributing to a true healthy skin. Sometimes there are many lifestyle factors that must be changed if a woman genuinely wants to transform herself into the most beautiful version of who she can, and wants, to be. What is beauty? It is health, inside and out. Nothing more, nothing less.
I hope that my contribution to my dear friend Chel's wonderful blog will be a resource, for my clients as well as any woman who wants to look younger, have clearer skin, learn tips for everyday and bridal makeup, and simply to look and feel beautiful, healthy, and feminine. All of these things can be achieved without spending a lot of money, and are often surprisingly simple and practical.
I believe that once you have the correct knowledge, you can use as much or as little as you choose in order to be the most beautiful self that you want to become! I hope you will enjoy my future posts and tips for a healthier, more beautiful you.
